Mazdaspeed 3 SPD Oil Filter Housing

We at Savage Pro Designs understand how annoying it can be to deal with oil leaks. Especially, a leaking sandwich plate, when running an external oil cooler. So we decided to engineer a better solution that didn’t use a pesky sandwich plate.

This lead us to designing an entire oil filter housing replacement. That mounts directly to the block & replaces the stock filter housing. Our filter housing has all the oil ports of the original one in addition to the following:
- 1 x 1/4” NPT port (for OEM oil pressure sensor)
- 3 x 1/8” NPT ports
- 2 x -10 O-Ring Boss ports (5/8” ORB)

This housing was designed with 2 x 1/8” NPT ports on the oil cooler feed side and 1 x 1/8” NPT ports on the return from the oil cooler. This allows monitoring of pressure & temperature before and after the oil cooler. The 2 x -10 ORB ports used as the feed and return for the external oil cooler.

With these additions you will have all the necessary ports needed to run an external oil cooler setup, with none of the hassle of a sandwich plate.

1- SPD Oil Filter Housing
1- OEM Oil filter
1- OEM filter housing gasket
1- OEM Drain plug crush washer
2- 90deg -10 ORB to -10 AN fittings
3- Stainless Steel 1/8 NPT plugs
4- Mount bolts

We are taking pre-orders , use the drop down menu under Materials and select pre-order. A minimum deposit of $225.00 (50%) will be charged in order to place your pre-order. Once your order is ready to ship the remaining 50% will be charged/due.

Refunds are explain below. 

In the event that you place a partial pre-order of 50% and decide that you would like to cancel the order. Then you will not be eligible to receive a refund for the deposit. The reason for this is all pre-ordered are made to order. 

If you place a full deposit pre-order and then decide that you would like to cancel your order. Then when you cancel your order you will receive a 50% refund of the full deposit. 

This policy above is only for pre-orders if you order and item that is in-stock and cancel then you will only be charged a flat 15% restocking fee.
